Tadean C Page is indeed humble, intelligent, and motivated. Working to achieve greatness has always been, and always will be his number one goal. Having had grown up in Dillon, South Carolina many people place caps on how far they believe young African American males from such an area will go. Page used this to build his resilience and drive to succeed. He currently attends Winthrop University in Rock Hill, South Carolina where he is a Junior Elementary Education Major. With his degree in education, he plans to teach for a number of years then advance on to receive a Master’s degree in Education Leadership and Administration to become a principal. His other career goals include owning a number of businesses such as an afterschool program and restaurants. Until all of these goals are achieved, he is currently serving and doing a number of things at his University and in the community. At Winthrop University, he was recently elected as the Student Body Vice-President for the 2015-2016 academic year. He is also a member of the Call Me MISTER Program, the president of the South Carolina Education Association, a co-host on Winthrop’s Radio Station, an active member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated, and a student worker all while maintaining a grade point average above 3.0. He does not get a thrill out of boasting about his accomplishments or success thus far, but in having that constant justification that the sky is truly the limit. As an active member of church at Powerhouse Christian Church, he serves on the praise and worship team, choir, and mime dance team. His relationship with God is the most important thing in life, and he sets out to spread the love of Christ. He is the founder of the “I am H.I.M.” Scholarship Foundation, a non-profit organization established to assist other males to pursue greater in life through financial assistance and moral support for their college career. His hobbies include going to church, singing, shopping, and hanging with friends. He says that his mission in life is to impact someone’s life in a positive way daily. “Leading is what I was called to do, but serving is always my main priority and passion.”
