For the first year, the scholarship committee awarded a $500.00 non-renewable scholarship. For the 2015-2016 academic year, the scholarship award will be increased to the amount of $1,000. Our vision is that we will one day be able to award multiple scholarships and conduct programs around the community that implement our males being empowered. Along with donations, fundraisers will be implemented throughout the course of the year to fund future scholarships.

 

We, the I Am H. I.M. Scholarship Committee solicit your donation of any amount you are able to give to support this scholarship fund. Many high school graduates do not attend college due to financial burdens. However, your generosity would be so appreciative to us and the many males who do not have the necessary means to pursue higher education. In addition to funding higher education, I Am H.I. M. will serve as a mentoring cohort for the students. If you are unable to make a donation, then we still appreciate you taking time to become acquainted with our scholarship. Please mail all donations to the address listed below. Checks should be made payable to the “I am H.I.M.” Scholarship. We are also accepting donations throug Go Fund Me. In addition, the EIN number for this non-profit organization is available upon request. We look forward to receiving your contributions and/or any deed that will help us reach our goal.
